Victoria:
ALPHA AUTISM INC.
From the outset, we at Alpha knew we had created something special with drawtism, and that it was potentially much bigger than us. Alpha approached each state's major autism body (with the exception of Victoria), with three organisations deciding to join drawtism for 2009. Coming together in this way has helped us to create a truly National campaign, as well as reduce our fundraising expenses.
Alpha Autism Incorporated (AAI) provides a range of service for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder or those with similar needs. Alpha Autism supports their needs and ambitions by developing skills, promoting independence and facilitating social opportunities within the community.
AAI funded services include:
 |
8 Day Training and Support Services throughout Melbourne |
 |
A Statewide Employment Program |
 |
Respite and Recreation Programs |

AUTISM SPECTRUM AUSTRALIA (ASPECT)
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is the country’s largest not-for-profit autism specific service provider. Autism Spectrum Australia provides information, education and other services through partnerships with people with an autism spectrum disorder, their families and communities. Established in 1966, Autism Spectrum Australia’s specialised evidence based autism educational program is amongst the largest in the world. Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are lifelong developmental disabilities affecting each person’s ability to communicate and to relate to others, in different ways, and to varying degrees. Individuals typically have marked impairments in social interaction, and in communication, and restricted and repetitive interests and behaviours, and may have sensory sensitivities.

South Australia:
AUTISM SA

Your involvement in Drawtism in South Australia will help Autism SA provide a range of services including Diagnosis, Early Intervention and School Support.
