Wojciech Nadachowski
Wojciech has been at Alpha for three years, initially running programs and activities at one of Alpha’s Adult Training and Support Services (ATSS) in Keilor - “...it didn’t really feel like work because it was often a great deal of fun. Cooking gnocchi, jamming on drums or going for a long walk is a privileged way to spend your time. I guess there were lots of ‘stop and smell the roses’ moments.”
After conceiving the link between the frustrated Pictionary player and someone affected by ASD, Wojciech synthesized the Trivia night format with Pictionary leading to a successful night at the Keilor Bowls Club. Combined with the awarding of major grants from funding submissions, this success enabled Wojciech to establish and spearhead the Community Relations and Fundraising (CR&F) activities.
Prior to his time at Alpha, Wojciech spent eight years studying philosophy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, starting out with the hope to find the meaning of life, only to discover that answer is pretty elusive.
Luke Bell
Luke is on the Board of Directors at Alpha in a voluntary capacity, and has spent the last 18 months mentoring Wojciech during their Thursday morning breakfast tour of Melbourne. Having met through a mutual friend Matt Courtney, Luke and Wojciech hit the ground running with the Pictionary idea. Luke is the co-creator of drawtism, not only coming up with the name, but transforming the original Big Game concept into the large scale participation based event its has become.
Luke has more energy than electricity and loves the good things in life. Prior to his current role as Marketing and Promotions Manager at Trampoline Gelato, Luke was the Corporate Relationships Manager at The Cancer Council Victoria.
Lachlan West
The need for a sophisticated Donor Relationship Management system has been evident since last year's campaign, and Lachlan has been steadily and generously working on this project as a volunteer for the last eight months. Having received a significant donation of ten user licences from salesforce.com, Lachlan has been busily preparing the DRM so that we can provide the drawtism hosts all the support they need to organise a fun and engaging drawtism game.
