Organising a Big Game
Do you want to host a Big Game of Pictionary, but are not sure how to plan and organise your event? We have done it all before, so to assist you in making your event a huge success we have put together some ideas. Click on the PDF files below for more information.
Drawtism at home/community
It's easy to have a great night or a weekend afternoon playing Pictionary with friends or family. You can host your own lunch, bbq or dinner, or ask everyone to pitch in with drinks and nibbles.
If you don't want to host the game at your own home, perhaps have it at someone else's house, go down to the pub or local club, or have a picnic at the park.
Everyone involved with playing Pictionary should make a donation. All donations over $2 are tax deductible and can be made by cash, cheque or credit card. A donation sheet has been supplied with your kit so that everyone can fill in their details. It's best to collect your donations before playing your game.
Drawtism at work
Having a game of Pictionary at work is a great way to have your organisation supporting a worthy cause, plus you have fun with your colleagues, and maybe even "outdraw" your boss. A Friday afternoon session of Pictionary with some drinks and nibbles is a great way to end the working week.
Find out whether your organisation could consider dollar–for–dollar matching where your work agrees to donate the same amount of funds raised by you. If not, dollar-for-dollar matching, how about an additional cash donation?
Your organisation could also possibly get involved by donating a good or service for a raffle or an auction. It's simple to sell tickets for the week, leading up to your event; raffle tickets are readily available at most supermarkets. Alternatively, a silent auction is easy to do... just leave the items and a bidding sheet for your friends or colleages to enter their bids during the event.
