Drawtism is a participation based awareness and fundraising campaign and as such the collection of personal information is integral to it. Drawtism is organised by Alpha Autism Inc, which includes campaign managing drawtism on behalf of other Australian state based autism bodies. These include Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) in NSW; Autism SA Inc and the Autism Association of Western Australia.
Privacy Laws
Alpha Autism Inc is bound by Victorian legislation that was created to protect the privacy of individuals. These include the Information Privacy Principles of the Information Privacy Act 2000. 3rd party information collection, storage and security (drawtism website only)
Alpha Autism Inc. has engaged Artez Interactive as its online fundraising software provider. Your privacy is important to Artez. Artez collects the data you submit through this Internet-based tool (personal information, answers to survey questions, donor data, etc.) and distributes it to Alpha Autism Inc. Alpha Autism Inc. owns this data in Victoria only, but manages the data on behalf of its National Affiliates. Artez does not sell any personal information that it collects. 3rd party information storage and security
Once Alpha Autism Inc have used Artez to collect your information, your information is exported to salesforce.com to store your personal information. Salesforce.com is a web based database application that is known as cloud computing.

Only authorized Alpha Autism or National Affiliate staff and volunteers may access this information. Refer to the section below for more information on information ownership and access between states.
Interstate information access and ownership
Salesforce.com keeps your information in a secure database that only authorized Alpha Autism or National Affiliate staff or volunteers may access. The ownership of personal information gained through drawtism is state based, although Alpha Autism Inc will continue communicating with all registered drawtism hosts exclusively for drawtism campaign purposes only. Thus, if you register as a host in NSW, SA or WA, your personal details will be owned and accessed by Autism Spectrum Australia (ASPECT), Autism SA, or the Autism Association of WA respectively. Using personal information
Any personal information that we collect about you will only be used by us for the reason it was collected in the first instance, unless:

it could be reasonably expected that the Alpha Autism or one of our National Affiliates would use the information for a related purpose; |

the information is not sensitive and the use of the information is for our marketing. |
Disclosing personal information
Aside from the agreement with its National Affiliates, Alpha Autism does not give or lend your personal information, except:

Alpha Autism may, without notice, amend or modify its Privacy Policy regarding drawtism by posting the amended Privacy Policy to the drawtism website.
